My thoughts: These are my thoughts while watching this movie. This will contain spoilers.
1. It is 28 mins into an 88 min movie when is anything going to happen?
2.Wow those kinetic dot lights are kinda cool.
3. Is their humidifier a frog?
4. Why would a caring older sister think it is weird for a 6 year old to climb in bed with her at night after seeing his mom taken off in an ambulance, even if it's the neighbor kid that is still understandable.
5.When is anything going to freaking happen?
6. Finally a weird shadowy thing
7. Wait if that's Hunter who the hell is the other kid?
8. If this is found footage who edited it?
9. Where did the multiple angle garage scene come from?
10. If this is found footage a.k.a. this is the really real world in 2011 wouldn't they recognize the creepy neighbor lady as the demonic murderous lady from the first three films?
11. What was the point with the vanishing knife?
12. When will the pool cleaner from part 2 make it's comeback, that was the star of that one.
13. Oh look it's a coven
14. Finally ten mins of a scary movie video that I could probably find a better version of on creepypasta
15. Holy shit there's going to be another one. Well I'm not going to watch it.
16. Okay I probably will watch it.

3. Cabin in the Woods Plot: 5 teens go into the woods and some bad stuff goes down My thoughts: I freaking love this movie, it is one of the best horror films of the past decade. It is loaded with injokes and forces you to examine who exactly you root for in these types of movies. Joss Whedon's brand of humor really shines in this film. High Recommend.

2. Event Horizon Plot: A ship with the ability to bend time and space was lost 7 years ago a crew head out with the scientist that built the engine to find out where it went and what happened to it's crew. My thoughts: I saw this movie in either 98 or 99, I remember being told then that it was the scariest film by several of my friends. I remember really liking it and being freaked out by it would it hold up now after all I've seen? Yes and no. Now I can see the bits that were borrowed, for instance the interior of the ship, especially the gravity drive/gateway is a copy of the  Lament Configuration from Hellraiser and I imagine that this may well be what happens inside that infamous cube. That being said I still really enjoy this film, Sam Neill is one of my favorite actors and when you toss in Lawrence Fishburn as a tough but compassionate Captain then you got pure win.
